Chef Matthew brings more than 20 years of culinary experience, with an extensive background in fine dining and elevated cuisine. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong passion for creating exceptional dishes while maintaining the quality, consistency, and attention to detail that make a memorable dining experience.
As Head Chef, Matthew is leading the culinary direction at 1846, bringing his experience and creativity to our kitchen while continuing to develop a menu centered around scratch-made food, quality ingredients, and elevated Texas-inspired dining.
Beyond the food, Chef Matthew believes that a successful kitchen is built on leadership, teamwork, discipline, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
